The day before the Big Chill we decided to have a quiet night in so we were all prepared for the next day. I went out for a couple of pints in Derby about 3ish with Sam and then met up with the boys and went around Ashbourne all night. So much for that plan!
We got up the next day and headed off, stopped at Tesco for some beers and then finally got there about 3 I think. We were first so we rang up the others to find out how far behind they were. Clint n Jay arrived but for some reason they couldn’t see us which was weird cos I was standing on top of Kev’s car wearing an Hawiian shirt… After 5 minutes we realised we were in the wrong car park.
We wandered across and met then just in time to carry the last lot of stuff up and ‘help’ putting the rest of the tents up (we had a 12 man and a 6 man between 6 of us – good maths lads). We then proceeded to thoroughly wankered. Rossy rang up to say he’d arrived at about mid-night but I’d passed out by then – sorry!
