Beany’s Stag Do

Author: Let the debauchery begin! I thought we could use this page so we’ve all got all the details in one place and everyone knows what’s going on. I’ll try and keep it up to date and if anyone thinks there’s anything we need to know, leave a comment.
The basics

OK, here’s the basic plan. If people can aim to get there around mid-day / early afternoon we can arrange a place to meet based on how most people are travelling there, head over to where we’re staying, get some food for those that want it and then head out into town.
Generally when I’m in charge of things for a night out if I plan it too much, it’ll go horribly wrong so I tend to wing it. I know the Ashbourne boys are happy to just get drunk and pub crawl around town. If everyone’s happy doing that, then that’s the plan. If anyone has any other ideas about what we could do, leave a comment below.
Accommodation
Right, the difficult part! After a couple of hours of Googling, it seems that we could be risking it by just booking a hotel and then turning up at 2am, hammered… The way forward seems to be to go through one of the websites that arrange stag nights and just go for the accommodation only option.
To do this, we need definate(ish) numbers before we can go through one of the enquiry forms. There’s one site that’s run by Lastminute.com so they should be pretty good and the prices look to be around £30 a night. As we’ve all got work on Monday (I assume) we’ll only need one night as well which leaves more ma-honey for beers! Leave a comment below to say “I’m in” and I’ll get organising (I hate organising… marriage sucks!).

More random drunkness
Just in case you hadn’t noticed (or haven’t been here before), I’ve done a bit of a re-design on the site.
While I was looking through all the crap on here I came across some strange stuff. No idea where this came from but watch it on repeat (you’ll need Windows Media Player or similar).
