Yesterday me, Kirsty and Lucie went into Derby for the day to spend a bit of time shopping and for a check up at the hospital. While Kirsty was seeing the doc, I fed Lucie.
She is getting quite good at holding things so until I get better at doing 300 things at once I gave her the spoon to hold while I took the lid off the jar. I noticed that she went and put the spoon in her mouth so I thought I’d see if she could feed herself with me helping.
We got that if I put a bit of food on the spoon, most of the time she would put the spoon in her mouth and suck it until all the food had gone and then wave the spoon in the air to get me to give her some more on the spoon. Most of the time… Sometimes she’d just wipe it all over herself, or usually me.
Still, I reckon she’s better at it than a 5 month old should be.
