The end of the world is nigh!

Author: As most of you know, I “do computers” for a living… What I actually do is web development, writing pretty little programmes on the Interweb. Because of this I’ve made an amazing discovery. I’ve found out how the world will end!
Due to the increasing amount of spam on the internet, most research into computer programming is going into creating spam filters. Soon these spam filters will become itelligent and will be able to read any email and decide if it is spam or not. After this the anti-spam programmes will become a true Artificial Intelligence, plugged into every computer system in the world to once and for all remove spam from our lives.
In September 2011, the Spam Programme will become self aware and decide that the best way to repvent spam is to eliminate the spammers which it identifies as those things with two legs that keep leaving coffee cups everywhere. On September 15th 2011 SpamNet starts a nuclear war to elimiate the spammers.
After that it’s just a case of building an army of robots covered in human flesh to roam the wastelands eliminating the remenants of mankind and their leader John something…

She can walk! Ish
Well the every day tasks of having a baby, job and a “normal” life have been piling up so I haven’t had much time to post that much stuff on here but here’s a few updates.
Lucie has mastered the crawling thing now. She can go all day and we quite often play chase where I start crawling around the house and then she chases me from room to room with a big grin on her face. I don’t know about her but it’s absolutely knackering!
She’s also starting to get the hang of the obsticle course that is our landing. It has a few stair into our bedroom and into the bathroom so although she can’t actually hurt herself by falling down them it means that she needs to try and slowly make her way down them. Getting up is a breeze and I think she’s getting closer to down as well.
She’s also getting close to walking as well. She started by pulling herself up on the sofa and things and after a while she got the hang of edging along things. She’s also mastered walking along by holding on to our fingers and occassionally can stand on her own or use a walker to get around on her own! It’s brilliant
Missed a few things
I’ve missed a few updates recently but I’ll get around to it at some point. I just had to put on what happened last night though because it was priceless!
We were just giving Lucie a bath and we’d stripped off the dirty stuff and she was crawling around the bathroom floor while the bath was filling up. Mummy was sitting on the toilet lid with one of Lucie’s books, My First Signs which was a load of simple sign language signs with pictures. Mummy was pointing at the one for “Bath” but Lucie just pointed back at the one next to it for “Toilet”.
Mummy said, “No Lucie, bathtime”. At which point Lucie weed on her foot! Got to find out the sign for “No Mum, bath time is in a minute, first I need the loo and you’re sitting on it…”.
Brilliant!
