So as mentioned on DevBlog I’ve recently changed jobs, which also meant I got a shinny new MacBook Pro. I did however mean I had to give back the Ford Focus I got brand new a year and a half ago.
So since then I’ve been borrowing the missuses 19 year old Ford Fiesta. There’s nothing wrong with it really, it’s nippy cos it’s light as it doesn’t have all the health and safety crap. I also got the 1.3i so it wouldn’t be too slow. It handles quite well too as it’s low. But the problem is, it’s not fast enough on the open road, doesn’t have power steering and, worst of all, is an automatic! I had to get my own.
I did some digging and after search all the major car websites, eBay Motors, AutoTrader etc, I found one while walking the dog down at my local garage – a BMW 316i from 1996, in black and in very good condition. Now it’s all mine! Bwa ha ha ha.
Seriously the best driving car I’ve had and that’s quite a long list to choose from.
